Growing up in New York, and then living in Boston, Peter Kudla, CEO of Metropolitan Homes, and visionary developer of Vallagio at Inverness, wanted to create a neighborhood similar to the places he lived in back East. A neighborhood that wasn’t just buildings, but rather a place with personality, a place people could feel connected to.
With this goal in mind, Peter set out to create Vallagio, a place where a variety of living opportunities for a variety of people come together in a real walkable neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and light rail nearby.
Now that dream is a reality, and industry experts have named Vallagio Denver’s Neighborhood of the Year. The perfect blend of urban and suburban, Vallagio is not only a winner of countless awards, it is a neighborhood that gives back to the community.
As the guiding force behind a variety of Tiny Miracles fundraising events for The Children’s Hospital, Peter and the Metropolitan Homes team have helped raise over $5.9 million for the hospital over the last seven years.
Vallagio carries on Peter’s tradition of giving with the Tiny Miracles Trot, a 5K walk/run for The Children’s Hospital that starts and ends in the heart of the Vallagio neighborhood. A day filled with food, music, and fun, it’s an event that truly demonstrates the sense of community connection Peter set out to create.
Vallagio is Peter’s dream brought to life – a true neighborhood with personality.
